Joanna Purdie and Gavin Hazelden look forward to welcoming you to our inaugural Leaders Retreat. An opportunity to step aside from daily operations and concentrate on developing a clearer vision for the future of your Early Learning Service.

Join like-minded, progressive owners and leaders seeking to strive toward excellence in all aspects of their Early Learning Service. Hear from inspiring leaders and innovators from within and outside the sector that provide powerful insights. Participate in thought-provoking discussions, immerse yourself in practical learning sessions, interactive activities, and develop customised real plans that translate to achieving excellence in your Service.

Strictly limited attendee numbers will ensure personal learning outcomes are achieved for all. Unlike other large Childcare conferences this is an intimate event designed for leaders to get the most out of their time with leading experts and peers.

Commencing at 10am Wednesday 20 November 2024 and concluding midday Friday 21 November 2024 we look forward to seeing you at Formosa.

 

Formosa Resort is nestled along the scenic Pohutukawa Coast, and only 25 minutes from the Sylvia Park offramp in Auckland or 45 minutes by ferry from Downtown Harbour to Pine Harbour. Pick up is available for the 4 minute drive to Formosa Retreat.

We encourage all delegates to stay onsite; however day only options are available which exclude dinner, accommodation and breakfast.

Murray Thom Lexus Ambassador. Former Manager Director of CBS Records and Director of Thom Productions. Murray was named one of New Zealand’s Top 10 entrepreneurs of the decade.

Caren Rangi ONZM, MInstD. Chair of the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa and of Pacific Homecare Services, and a Board member of Te Papa Tongarewa the Museum of New Zealand, the Massey University Council and Pacific Co-operation Broadcasting Ltd.

Mark Donovan – Barrister.  Mark is a specialist in Employment law and runs his own successful law firm in Auckland.

Nick Davies – Former CFO Busy Bees. Nick has a wide range of experience in other sectors and including most recently as a large scale operator in the NZ ECE sector.

Jessica Dziwulska – Wellness. Jessica has over 25 years in the Wellness sector and will lead us in practical strategies for wellness.

Rachel Gray – Pedagogical leader. Rachel has worked with many leading ECE providers and supporting non ECE owners and leaders.

Kiwibank Executive. Hear strategies on sustainability including Kiwibanks own journey to achieving B Corp certification.

Artificial Intelligence Forum of NZ Executive. Hear strategies on how to harness AI in your business.
